Shipping & Returns

Shipping: 

I ship via USPS Ground Advantage & Priority Mail, and UPS Next Day Air.  Free & Flat Rate Shipping is available for US Domestic.  Rates are dependent on purchase value and customer selection. 

US Domestic Shipping:  

* USPS Ground Advantage packages include USPS Tracking.  Delivery time usually takes between 2 - 5 business days.  Packages are also insured up to $100.  Contact me if you wish to insure your package for a greater amount and I will adjust the rates accordingly.  *Free for purchases $150+, or  $7 flat rate. 

* USPS Priority Mail packages include USPS Tracking and include $100 of Insurance.  Delivery time ranges from 1 - 3 business days.  If you wish to increase the insurance value, please contact me and I will adjust the rates accordingly.  *Free for purchases $250+, or $10 flat rate. 

* 2-Day Air packages will be shipped via UPS or FedEx and include $100 of insurance and tracking.   

If you need next day / overnight delivery - please contact me to make arrangements. 

International Shipping:  All packages are shipped via UPS Worldwide and do not include additional insurance beyond the carrier provided coverage.  If you wish to insure your package, please contact me and I will adjust the rates accordingly and may send you an additional invoice for this coverage.  Please note that I am not responsible for any duties, taxes or customs fees, as they are the sole responsibility of the buyer.  *currently shipping to Canada and Australia.  Please contact me for expanded global market shipping interest.

Returns:

Our Exchange / Return Policy is 14 days from delivery date for eligible purchases, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return. To be eligible for a return, please contact us to make arrangements.

The item must be unused, undamaged, and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. Shipping expense will not be refunded or reimbursed.

Some items are exempt from exchange, return or refund eligibility:
~ piercing tops / flatbacks / hoops 
~ made to order, special ordered, personalized, or commission pieces
~ sale items 
~ gift cards 
~ any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error
~ any item that exceeds our policy timelines or eligibility criteria 

Note:  if a return / refund is approved and accepted, the original purchase amount will be subject to a 20% Restocking Fee.  In addition, the client will hold all responsibilities for return shipping fees and associated insurance.

Damages and issues

Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.


Exceptions / non-returnable items

Certain types of items cannot be returned, and are exempt from exchange or refund eligibility:

~ made to order, special ordered, personalized or commission pieces 

~ piercing tops / flatbacks / hoops

~ sale items 

~ gift cards

~ any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error

~ any item that exceeds our policy timelines or eligibility criteria

 

Refunds

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. Refunds (full or partial) may be refunded to you as a store credit, digital or physical gift card, or on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.  If more than 15 business days have passed since we’ve approved your return, please contact us at barb@petersonmade.com.
